From Hurdles to Hustle
Every startup faces obstacles. Here’s a look at the key challenges we encountered and the strategies we implemented to overcome them.
Challenge: Time Management
As full-time students, balancing academic responsibilities with business activities was demanding, affecting our productivity.
Solution: Structured Division of Roles
We divided responsibilities based on strengths. This parallel workflow balanced our workload and made us more efficient.
Challenge: High Market Competition
The campus snack market is crowded. It was difficult to attract attention without a large advertising budget.
Solution: Grassroots Marketing
We used word-of-mouth and social media sharing. Our relatable online presence helped us build real connections and grow organically.
Challenge: Limited Startup Capital
Our initial RM150 funding limited our ability to invest in professional packaging or bulk ingredient purchases.
Solution: Starting Small, Scaling Smart
We kept our first batch small to test demand. We then reinvested profits, allowing us to grow steadily without financial risk.
